Makey

I grew up in Bristol, England. All throughout my studies I only concentrated on art to widen my creativity and imagination. It was when I attended University of south Wales, Newport that I started to paint as until then I was mostly creating sculptures, fashion, photography and 3d designs. After university I moved back to Mauritius at the age of 22. Finding my feet in the art world here was a real opening eye for me as I noticed there wasn’t any other artist like me so I decided to open my own company called Yusarts in 2010. I was lucky enough to open an 8-room gallery in that same year to show the public my love for painting, photography, interior design and sculptures (making candle holders). Since then I have been able to work on various private homes and public spaces like Vona Corona Ice Cream Palour in RoseHill. End of last year I had the honor of renovating the house of Pere Laval which is a truly highlight of my career!
