After Muslim Presence in Mauritius and its contribution to the Rainbow Nation organized by the Islamic Cultural Centre under the aegis of the Ministry of Arts and Culture, Siddick Nuckcheddy is organizing his exhibition at Galerie llha Do Cirne from 12 to 26 May 2018.

Nalini Treebhoobun
Nalini Treebhoobun, artist, lives and works in Mauritius. After graduating at the Sorbonne University in Paris, she obtained a PHD at Delhi University for which she wrote a thesis on the heritage and evolution of different artistic forms brought by the Indian immigrants in Mauritius.

In the context of the 50th Anniversary of the Independence of Mauritius, the Islamic Cultural Centre
under the aegis of the Ministry of Arts and Culture organised an art exhibition
Muslim Presence in Mauritius and its contribution to the Rainbow Nation.
On the 19 April 2018 at the ICCI Complex in Port Louis in the presence of H.E Mr Paramasivum Pillay
Vyapoory, Vice – President of Mauritius.
Aquarellist Faizal Dilloo, whose works are exhibited on mauritiusarts.com, participated in the exhibition
together with Riaz Auladin, Nasreen Ahseek Banu, Ali Khan Muhammad Khodabacus and Hussain Jaffar
Sobha.
